A government that taxes your arse off and then sits the fuck on top of its pile of treasure isn't a socialist government, but a shitty government (or perhaps any market economy aiming for a surplus budget.) Communists don't tax, because you don't earn money - you just work for them and they give you food. The only area of a communist system with money involved is foreign trade.

Medicare is socialist - the government puts a 2.5% tax on us, and in return we get medicine. Progressive tax scales that tax rich people more than poor - socialist. Socialism is good.

Robert, have you been talking to members of the Tea Party movement in America?
