x-gays

In other exciting news, turns out being a dumb cripple actually eats shit. Getting up from my computer seat and making my way around the house now, whether it be to go to the toilet, or getting food, or feeding the cat, or whatever else, gets me out of breath and is really slow and annoying. I wish I could shit right here in my seat. The doctor said I'd be fine in four-to-five days, which makes me slightly nervous, because I've got a gig to go to in about six days. WILL I MAKE IT? WILL I MANAGE TO HEAL UP IN TIME TO SEE HOWL AT MOUNTIES? AND GRINSPOON TOO EVEN THOUGH I DON'T REALLY CARE MUCH FOR THEM AND I'M ACTUALLY PAYING LIKE $33 TO SEE A BAND THAT NORMALLY PLAYS FOR LIKE $10? If someone else wrote a blog post like this, I probably wouldn't read it.
You might be thinking, hey Genvin, aren't you a gay little fag who always mindlessly spouts shit about the importance of keeping a Positive Mental Attitude and other queer shit like that? Yes, yes I am, which is why I have written up a quick guide on how to make the most of life with a slightly busted ankle. I know, srs bidnit.

1. Cripwalking.
Hee hee. Yeah, no, the humour comes in the fact that I can't. Cripwalk is Stephen's joke so I have to give him indie credits, because this is how we do around here. JUST A HEADS UP FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING BREAKING THEIR LEGS AND USING CRUTCHES - GETTING AROUND ON CRUTCHES ALL DAY ACTUALLY FUCKING HURTS YOUR HANDS MORE THAN ANYTHING. YOUR HANDS AND YOUR ARMPITS IF YOU'RE AN IDIOT LIKE ME AND DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE CRUTCHES PROPERLY. I AM GAY. If you're going to get a gift for a crippled friend, get them new wrists, because chances are, THEY HURT.

2. Sit around and cry all day about the lack of things to do.
Y'know what I could be doing today? LITERALLY EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD. FUCK MY GAY LITTLE LIFE

2010: A YEAR IN REVIEW / NYORTSCAST / BRING ON THE APOCALYPSE ALREADY

HELLO ALL. It's roughly this time of the year that basically everyone in the blogosphere starts doing wrap-up-style posts where they review the year that just passed, and so since I'm dumb, I'll do the exact same. It's not like I have much else to do at the moment anyway - I've basically been sitting here the entire day, eating and being really grumpy and bitter about my semi-usable leg, which, by the way, is still swollen and is a total bitch to walk on. I just spent the last three days hobbling around Goulburn, half the time on crutches, half the time not, and groaning and breathing heavily the whole time. I feel like an old person. I take that back, that was possibly mean to say.

IN CONCLUSION, I CAN'T BE BOTHERED WITH THIS POST ANYMORE. 2010 WAS VERY OKAY. HERE, HAVE THIS PICTURE OF A GUY GETTING HIT INSTEAD.

hey, when you carry your skateboard around Cabramatta...

IRONICALLY, THEY TURNED OUT TO BE REALLY GODDAMN SLIPPERY.
Also in case anyone was wondering, they weren't, I can't change my font sizes any more for some reason, so my captions don't really look like captions.

Dannis dropped off these sweet new wheels at my place yesterday, yew! They make my board look atrocious, but booooy are they smooooth and lovely to ride. Being the impatient kid I am, I couldn't wait to take them out, and since doing Nathan isn't scheduled any time particularly soon on my calendar, I decided to take them out this afternoon for a quick cruise just around the neighbourhood. This is what ended up happening. Whoops!

I'm typing up this post as if it ain't no thang, but as you can probably guess, MY LEG HURTS A LOT AND IS DISGUSTING RIGHT NOW.
Furthermore, whoops, I forgot to pay you Yannis. I'll get it to you on Boxing Day, probably.

MOTHER FUCKIN' DEATH SET

Just kidding.
Here's what actually happened:

[Oh yeah Bob, I checked what that saying was - apparently it's 'when it rains, no drains!' Turns out it wasn't as clever as I kinda thought].

read 'em and weep.
