I didn't really take many photos, even though I cleared my phone of photos and videos so I could maximize my photo-taking at camp. After taking an impressive eight blurry shit photos out of a possible hundred within the first few hours of camp, most of which contained Simon, I didn't take any more for the duration of the trip to Broken Bay. Which we fixed.
After we arrived and we crowded into the hall thing, we were meant to assemble in lines determining our cabin groups. After lots of shouting and gay shit our pre-organised cabin agreements got stuffed up and we ended up having to go with the boarders, which seemed to be like the least desirable option at the time coz apparently boarders were gonna 'fuck us up and shit and steal shit'. In hindsight, I'm pretty glad coz the boarders were fucking good.
Anyway so after that was sorted and we had to go to the actual lodges and put our shit in them, da boyzzzzzz thought we'd go to the 8I lodge anyway and try to get places, which resulted in about half an hour of awkward argument, gay stuff and Dragonblade assault. After giving up, me, Stephen, Udit Danny? i think went back to Wallaby lodge with the boarders and were joined soon afterwards by Brian, Patrick, Roderick and Ashik, and we set up our stuff near the back of the room. After that we headed back out. I don't remember this chronologically.
After some really good cheese, we headed back to our lodges and got changed again. Stephen changed many times in the first day to run through his stock of six days worth of clothing. We headed back out to go bushwalking. I didn't bring a bottle with me because I figured 'its camp, I won't need water, of all things.' We were supplied big empty cordial bottles which we then filled with water, then went bushwalking. Events happened that I can't really be bothered with blogging about.
We got back and sat on some grass where our group discussed things about relationships. More events happened, then we had free time, where I played an epic game of large chess with Ashik, which consisted of lots of swearing and shouting. I lost.
My group had dinner duty thing, and I ended up getting the extremely shit job of making sure the bin liner didnt fall in. It smelt gross and faggots kept binning entire plates of food.
I don't really remember shit that happened on the first day.
In the time between entering our lodge for the night and sleeping, lots of epic fun shit happened, mainly mums spaghetti, and pegging marshmallows at each other, and screaming at anyone who entered to close the door and sustaining it for literally around 7 or 8 seconds, no exaggeration.
On the first night, the boarders went to sleep early, and so da boyzzz just gathered on me+Stepgens and Roderick+Dannys bed and dnm'd, except we kept getting too loud and Barton kept telling us to shut up or he'd bash us. We ended up going to sleep at 11 30. OMG YOU GUYS WENT TO SLEEP AT 11 30 ON CAMP? WE SLEPT AT 5 IN THE MORNING AND GOT LIKE AN HOUR OF SLEEP!!! Shut up.
The next morning, we woke up and I did my hair. I'm probably like the only one who didn't find the food completely terrible.
